This is such a personal project. My 18-year-old cat, Bella, recently had an emergency vet visit and we found out she needs life-saving surgery. I’ve only ever done abstract paintings in the past, but I looked at a photo of her and thought, what if I try to paint her?

And somehow… it worked. This is literally the first time I’ve ever tried painting a pet (or any kind of realism), and I didn’t even know I had it in me. I guess my love for Bella and my willingness to do anything for her must have unlocked this new part of my art.

So here I am, opening up custom cat portraits to help raise funds for her surgery. Each one will be in my own style (see Bella's example), with the animated expressive eyes (I call it the Puss in Boots eyes) - inspired by your cat’s image, personality and spirit. I’ll do my very best to capture them with the same love that went into Bella’s.
